That is why we are absolutely thrilled to announce our sponsorship in this year’s Benches on the Avenue public art program in Downtown Tinley Park!

This year’s event features the timely and vibrant theme "Party in the U.S.A.," celebrating the historic 250th anniversary of America. Local artists were challenged to bring patriotic stories, history, and American culture to life through unique, handcrafted bench designs lining Oak Park Avenue.

A Beautiful, Reflective Tribute to Our Veterans

Our sponsored bench, titled Field of Remembrance, is a deeply moving and emotional tribute dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans.

Brought to life by the incredibly talented multimedia artist Hannah Cobb, the bench utilizes the universal symbol of remembrance, the red poppy. The design depicts a breathtaking, vibrant field of red poppies across the backrest, beautifully contrasted against a lush green base. To tie the patriotic theme together, the flanking flower boxes are intricately painted in iconic red, white, and blue.

The red poppy has long stood as a powerful emblem of the sacrifices made by military service members. Through this beautiful installation, Field of Remembrance offers visitors a peaceful, physical space in the heart of Downtown Tinley to sit, pause, and reflect on the profound freedoms we enjoy thanks to our veterans.

Meet the Artist: Hannah Cobb

An impactful piece of public art requires an exceptional artist, and we could not be prouder to partner with Hannah Cobb. Hannah is a versatile multimedia artist who specializes in a wide range of creative disciplines, including drawing, painting, mixed media, and even theatrical makeup.

Field of Remembrance marks the second time Hannah has contributed her immense talents to the Benches on the Avenue program, and her dedication to honoring our service members shines through in every brushstroke.

The Benches on the Avenue program has officially kicked off, and we highly encourage our clients, friends, and neighbors to take a stroll down Oak Park Avenue to view the incredible work of all the participating artists.
