They got my books in order so I now have an accurate P&L and we have a budget. In addition to this, he created a process for our client disbursements which is both efficient and has the necessary checks and balances to eliminate the possibility of mistakes. My advice to young lawyers (and anyone starting a business) is to get a great bookkeeper to set everything up properly at the beginning.
